Serotonin Syndrome and Dextromethorphan Toxicity Caused by Fluoxetine and Bupropion-Dextromethorphan Interaction

Addition of bupropion-dextromethorphan (BUP/DXM) to existing fluoxetine treatment resulted in serotonin syndrome within 3 days, with symptoms prompting presentation to the ED 5 days after discontinuation of BUP/DXM.
