Marlene P. Freeman, MD, is a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. She is the Associate Director of the Center for Women’s Mental Health at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Abra Prentice Foundation Chair in Women’s Mental Health at MGH. She is the Medical Director of the Clinical Trials Network and Institute at MGH.
Dr Freeman completed medical school at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, residency at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program in Boston, and a research fellowship in the Biological Psychiatry Program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr Freeman is the Editor in Chief for The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology.
