Sir: Clozapine is an antipsychotic medication introduced tothe United States in 1989. It is a tricyclic dibenzodiazepine derivativechemically related to the traditional antipsychoticmedication loxapine.1 Side effects pose a significant problemduring clozapine therapy.’ ‹
