The current era in psychiatry and neuroscience is anexciting time that has no precedent in terms of the amount of new information that will further our understandingof the biological underpinnings of mental illness.Advances in genetics, neurobiology, and clinical psychiatryhave converged to begin a new epoch in psychopharmacology.These are fortunate developments, because nowherein the field of mental health is the need for newdiscoveries and better research more urgent than in childand adolescent psychiatry.’ ‹
