Suicide is a preventable death. Managing its risk is one ofthe biggest clinical challenges for all health professionals. Withthe ever-shrinking length of inpatient care and with the evergrowingwatch on utilization of care, the challenge of managingsuicidal risk keeps rising. Clinicians are always looking fortools that will allow them to be objective in their assessmentand collaborative in their clinical approach with patients.
