Sir: Dr. Goodnick and colleagues recently provided a comprehensive
and practical review of the fascinating interface between
depression and diabetes. Patients with diabetes are more
prone to suffer from depression than people in the general
population. Depressed diabetics are eight times more likely to
suffer depressive relapses.
