Sir: In 1998, Rösler and Witztum¹ published the first systematic study of antihormonal treatment of paraphilias with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonists. Since the publication of their promising results, there has been an increasing interest in this new form of treatment.² Our recently published review³ in the Journal revealed that 118 patients did not relapse if they remained on LHRH treatment.
