Sir:We thank Kirov et al. for their response to our article"A 3-Month, Follow-Up, Randomized, Placebo-ControlledStudy of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Depression."We fully agree that conducting further researchwould make sense only if higher stimulation parameters thanthose in our study are used. Their data support this view. On thebasis of our findings, however, we would also strongly advocate including a poststimulation follow-up period of at least 3months.’ ‹
