Sir: In our article "Safety and Tolerability of a Rapidly Escalating Dose-Loading Regimen for Risperidone" in the December 2000 issue (J Clin Psychiatry 2000;61:909-911), we reported safety and tolerability of a rapid-loading regimen employed clinically on our inpatient service for a period of time. The safety and tolerability data were collected by means of a retrospective chart review. Unfortunately, the article did not describe this methodology explicitly.
