Sir: The trend of using serotonin selective reuptake inhibitors(SSRIs) as first-line therapy for depression has broughtsafe, effective, and well-tolerated therapy to countless patients. However, many men and women taking these drugs (fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, and sertraline) experience orgasmicdysfunction. Attempts to help these unfortunate patients withcyproheptadine, amantadine, yohimbine, and methylphenidatehave had mixed success.
